Verde Ghost Salsa

Poor Vida Salsa – Verde Ghost

Ingredients:
Tomatillos, Yellow Sweet Onion, Jalapeno Peppers, Lime Juice, Kiwi, Olive Oil, White Vinegar, Garlic, Cilantro, Sugar, Ghost Peppers, Seasoned Pepper (black pepper, red bell pepper, sugar, paprika), Red Pepper Flakes, Vegetable Stock (concentrated carrot, celery, onion, tomato, potato & garlic, hydrolyzed soy protein, salt, yeast extract, sugar, maltodextrin, soybean oil, spice extractive), Cherrywood Smoked Sea Salt, Potassium Sorbate

Habanero Onion Salsa has been knocking it out of the park at the Good Local Markets Farmer’s Markets we have been doing, so it was a no brainer to expand the salsa lineup. Verde is the obvious place to go, but we wanted to do something that really set this product apart. Aidan has been wanting to experiment with Prickly Pear, so you can expect that to come soon in one product or another, but we wound up landing on Kiwi for the Verde Ghost. As you probably guessed from the name, we really cranked up the heat on this one with Ghost Peppers as well, which have a natural fruity / citrusy flavor to them which paired well with the Kiwi and Lime already in this knockout salsa verde.
