Granulated Garlic, Black Pepper, Granulated Onion, Sea Salt, Oregano, Basil, Cayenne Pepper, Parsley, Red Pepper Flakes, Guar Gum
This semi-spicy dry seasoning has is roots in something I was playing around with as a Texas version of Chimichurri… We had 2 dry rubs already knocked out, and I had gotten a chimichurri from another market vendor in Richardson, and I remembered how much I love that flavor. After a bit of tasting and testing, I realized that unless I wanted to put something out with a whole bunch of preservatives in it, I wasn’t going to be able to make a spicy liquid version of that kinda sauce. So we started going the other direction… let’s take those herbs, and keep them dry, spice them up, and shake it on! This seasoning hits all the spots where a chimichurri would kill it, without the oils and risks. It’s a lower heat option in the lineup, so we decided to make it a lower sodium option as well. Now you can find Poor Vida seasonings from low to extreme high heat, as well as zero to low to regular sodium content. We do it all!
